Polar Skate Co Big Boy Shorts | Light Blue

With a versatile light blue colour wash and custom detailing, this short edition of Polar’s Big Boy jeans has a classic look inspired by retro designs and has been constructed from durable cotton denim with a baggy... BAGGY fit.

Wide belt loops have been positioned around the waistband which is fastened by a single customised YKK button. Centrally underneath is a zippered fly. Providing space to store essentials, these Polar shorts have curved pockets that sit on either side of the front and a smaller coin compartment can be found within the right side with a custom embroidered graphic on top that presents Polar’s own ‘Big Boy character’. Additionally, on the reverse two shaped patch pockets, above on the right side is a blue and white woven label that presents stylised ‘Big Boy’ lettering with an illustration alongside. 

Seen in ‘I Like It Here Inside My Mind, Don’t Wake Me This Time’ and more recently a collaborative ‘Polar Rico’ campaign designed with Nike SB. Polar Skate Co. is an independent skater owned brand based in Malmö, Sweden. Founded in 2011 by skateboarder and videographer Pontus Alv, Polar’s own distinctive aesthetic has been developed through ‘90s styling influences and creativity, resulting in styles suited to everyday wear with custom artwork and detailing created in-house and by a selection of the brand’s favourite guest artists.
